Who we are
Grump Goes Grand is a personal site. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Grump Goes Grand.

What we collect
- If you use the contact form: your name, your email address, your message and the page you sent it from. Our system also records your IP address with the enquiry, which helps us deal with spam.
- If you email or phone us: whatever you tell us, and the details we need to reply.
- When you visit: our web server keeps standard logs (your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time) for security and troubleshooting.
Please do not put passwords, bank details, tax file numbers or identity documents in the contact form. We will never ask for them that way.
How we use it
- reply to your enquiry and provide what you have asked us about;
- keep a record of enquiries in our customer records system so that nothing gets lost;
- protect the site from spam and misuse;
- understand which pages are being read so we can improve them;
- meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not add you to a mailing list without asking first.
Where your information goes
- Our customer records system. Enquiries are also saved in a customer records system (EspoCRM) that Bailey Sierra Pty Ltd runs on servers it manages. It is used only by the people who run these businesses.
- Email. Contact form enquiries are emailed to us, so they pass through the email systems of the businesses and providers involved.
- Our hosting. This website runs on servers managed by Bailey Sierra Pty Ltd.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where you ask us to.
Analytics and cookies
- Jetpack Stats, provided by Automattic Inc. (WordPress.com), counts visits and shows us which pages are read. It collects information such as the pages viewed, the site you came from, your browser and your approximate location.
- Google Fonts. This site loads its fonts from Google, so your browser connects to Google’s servers and your IP address is shared with Google to deliver them.
These tools may use cookies or similar technologies. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work. We do not run advertising or use these tools to build marketing profiles.
Overseas providers
Some of the providers above are overseas companies, so information they handle may be stored or processed outside Australia, including in the United States.
Keeping it safe, and for how long
We take reasonable steps to protect information: access is limited to the people who need it, software is kept up to date, and the contact form has spam defences. No system is completely secure, and we cannot promise otherwise.
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond, to deliver any work that follows, and to keep proper business records. After that we delete or de-identify them where we reasonably can.
Seeing, correcting or deleting your information
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Use the contact page or write to us at PO Box 168, Panania NSW 2213. We may need to confirm who you are first.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us first and we will try to sort it out. If you are still not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
